The Miami Heat destroyed the Portland Trail Blazers this Friday by winning by 60 points (142-82), a monstrous difference that represents the ninth largest margin in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Despite the surprising result, the absolute record remains in the possession of the Memphis Grizzlies, who in 2021 humiliated the Oklahoma City Thunder in a duel where the Grizzlies won by 73 points (152-79).

These Heat were not far from that mark, achieving the largest margin in franchise history, surpassing the Blazers with an impressive 59.3% in field goals and an also spectacular 53.8% in triples (21 of 39).
Erik Spoelstra’s men not only shined on offense but also dazzled on defense, forcing 23 Portland turnovers.
Thomas Bryant (26 points and 11 rebounds), Terry Rozier (22 points and six assists) and Bam Adebayo (21 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists) were the top scorers in this total celebration of Miami.
