This Sunday the annual calendar of FATARCO (Argentine Archery Federation) is launched in the region and a group of necochenses from the local Archery High Performance Center will be competing in the Mar del Plata Federal Shooting on the occasion of the open-air tournament.
The archers from our city who this Saturday had their last practice at Primary School No. 52 ahead of Sunday’s competition are Daniela Gil, Mariana Cedrón and Brenda Casanovas. Daniela Gil shoots at 50 meters in the women’s recurve plus 50 modality; while Cedrón and Casanovas shoot at 40 meters in the women’s class 40 school class.
Happy with the start of the season, Mariana Cedrón told TSN Necochea that “on Sunday we start with the annual archery calendar, we have the first tournament in Mar del Plata that, although it is smaller than the usual ones, the open-air modality and “It is very attractive and there are 23 archers registered in all categories.”
