In an interview with Latvian Television after the finish, Bendika told that the result was most affected by the difficult condition of the track, because there was not really a place to rest your feet on the dissolved and in many places uneven surface, and this affected the result in the shooting. Baiba explained that he tried to shoot carefully, but four targets remained intact.

Buliņa, on the other hand, admitted that her four unshot targets is a good performance in shooting, but on the track there were opportunities to improve the result in skiing, finding harder and less damaged snow surfaces.

Sanita Buliņa finished in 61st place with four shooting errors, while Annie Kate Sabule did not shoot a single target and took 65th place in the competition of 84 participants, which is again her best achievement in the World Cup competition.

The first start for the women in Oslo was originally scheduled for Thursday, but the race was postponed a day later due to adverse weather conditions. Also on Friday, the competition started half an hour late.

Later on Friday, men will start in the individual distance, distances with a joint start for men and women will take place on Saturday, and at the end of the stage, the mixed classic and 1+1 relay will take place in Oslo on Sunday.

After the stage in Norway, there will be two more stages in the USA and Canada before the end of the World Cup season.
