Olympic Village: Doctor Sócrates Street, tribute to a football legend and figure of democracy

More than ever, the town of Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis) deserves its nickname “Brazil-sur-Seine”. A year ago, under this curious toponym, the collaboration between the municipality led by Karim Bouamrane (PS) and the Gol de Letra association of Raí, the former PSG and Seleção scorer, was born.

The town hall is perpetuating this Auriverde tropism this Saturday through two events: the return of its carnival – the first edition in 47 years – in the colors of the South American country and the inauguration of Doctor Sócrates Street in the Olympic village.
