Porzingis and the Celtics will host the Eastern Conference’s closest follower, the Bucks

Kristaps Porzingis returned to the lineup two days ago after missing five games. Spending 21 minutes on the court, he forged a victory against the Washington Wizards with 20 points and eight rebounds.

Now an opponent of a different caliber awaits. The Boston “Celtics” with a balance of 54 wins and 14 losses are not only the best team of the Eastern Conference, but of the entire league, while the Milwaukee “Bucks” with 44-24 are the closest followers in the conference.

The teams will cross paths for the third time, and the home team won the previous meetings. In November, the “Celtics” were superior with 119-116, and in the middle of January, the “Bucks” won with 135-102.

Porzingis stood out with 21+6 in victory and 6+2 in loss, respectively. In his career against the Bucks, he averaged 18.1 points and 8.2 rebounds in 18 games.

Milwaukee has two distinct offensive leaders – Giannis Adetokunbo (30.8 points) and Damian Lillard (24.4).

The duel will be special for Drew Holliday, who became the NBA champion as part of the Bucks, but is now playing his first season in Boston.
