Strasbourg – Asvel: 82-80

This is Strasbourg’s third big blow in 2024. After Paris on the 21st day then Monaco in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, SIG scalped Asvel on Saturday during the 27th day of Betclic Élite.

But the man of the match is William Howard, back in France after a long convalescence. The former Villeurbanne player scored 27 points at 7 of 10 from three points, with nine rebounds and six assists for an evaluation of 38.

Roanne – Boulogne-Levallois: 105-93

After three defeats in a row, Roanne, in the midst of a crisis for several weeks, found a smile again by subduing (105-93) the red lantern Boulogne-Levallois. La Chorale took off in the second quarter, winning 31-10 in the wake of another returner, winger Sekou Doumbouya (22 points) and Yannis Morin (17). Roanne’s US playmaker DJ Cooper scored 23 assists, one of the greatest performances in the history of the National League.

In the red zone, Roanne takes a step ahead of ADA Blois, still becalmed (6 defeats in a row) and can join Gravelines-Dunkerque on Sunday, if Le Portel wins in the Côte d’Opale derby.

Nancy – Cholet : 77-85

Yet deprived of three players, Tidjane Salaün, Nick Johnson and Emmanuel Nzekwesi, Cholet had a fourth success in a row, in Nancy, deprived of Frank Mason (85-77). Neal Sako produced a double-double (12 points and 14 rebounds) and TJ Campbell scored 20 points on 4 of 5 three-pointers.

The Mauges team is firmly established in sixth place while Nancy is joined by Le Mans and is losing ground in the top 8.
