On March 17, 2024, the Carinthian yellow belt tournament took place in the Feldkirchen sports hall. 120 athletes from all 11 Carinthian judo clubs took part. Four judoka from our club were also on the mat.
Leon Schöffmann and Tobias Tauchhamer both start in the class up to 55 kg. Leon won the scoring duel. Leon also won the second fight and came third in his class. Despite active fights, Tobias unfortunately couldn’t score points in the first three rounds. In the last round of the class, he left the mat as the winner and came fourth in the weight class.
Lilliane Mariani and Sophia Berger also fought in the same class. Unfortunately, both of them had no chance against the athlete from Judo Wörthersee, in the fight between themselves Sophia managed to get the point so she was able to be happy about second place, Liliane came third.
