It’s the beginning of March, which means the NBA Draft is getting closer and closer. And the more things progress, the more Zacharie Risacher seems destined to be called first by Adam Silver next June.
If we watch so closely the different Mock Drafts of Jonathan Givony (ESPN), this is because they give the best indication of the different trends regarding the upcoming NBA Draft. They become particularly relevant from March onwards, when we start to approach the end of the season and the Hexperts have enough information to be able to accurately judge the different prospects.
What to remember in the latest edition? Zacharie Risacher is always first.

Entering the concussion protocol after his debut with the EDF, Risacher has not played since February 23. And despite some ups and downs since the start of 2024, Zacc remains highly rated by scouts.
“Zaccharie Risacher maintains his first place thanks to his remarkable production, efficiency and consistency demonstrated throughout the season. The 18-year-old shoots a point every two minutes, shoots 46% from 3-point range, while impacting many aspects of the game.”

In addition to Zaccharie Risacher, we are happy to see that his runner-up is Alexandre Sarr, the other French nugget currently playing in the Australian championship. Tidjane Salaün is 10th in the Mock Draft.
Long live the Republic, and long live France as they say.
