Colombia Dominates in Multiple Sports at I Bolivarian Youth Games, Leading in Medal Count

After the competitions in fencing, swimming, table tennis, badminton, weightlifting and taekwondo, our country maintains the lead in the medal table of the I Bolivarian Youth Games with 14 golds, 10 silvers and five bronzes, for a total of 29 medals.

Colombia shone in the taekwondo debut thanks to the gold brothers Danna Isabella Ramírez and Daniel Ramírez, who in the Kyorugui modality, won the gold medal in the 49 and 55 kilogram categories.

Likewise, the inauguration of Colombian fencing was carried out by Emilio Vargas and Isabella González’s saber and sword, which shone like gold in the individual performances of each fencer at the Max Toledo Polygymnasium in Sucre Bolivia.

Weightlifting added medals to the medal table of our country with the three golds of Luis Osuna, Ivanna Cerquera and the standard bearer of our country, Ingrid Segura, in the categories of 73, 76, 71 kilograms, highlighting the four silvers and the bronze that They also happened at the Patria Stadium, Coliseum third phase.
