Dulcy Fankam leaves IDK Euskotren and signs for Seattle Storm. The American center travels to her country this Tuesday to join the WNBA team, a franchise she chose in the draft last June.

The international with Cameroon has been a player with a presence in Azu Muguruza’s schemes, with an average of 27:48 minutes played per game. Her scoring average rises to 11.8 points, accompanied by 9.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game. She has played a total of 31 games, thirty in the League and one in the Cup.

Fankam returns to the United States, where he trained and developed his entire career before signing for the San Sebastian team in the summer. He started as a junior at Walters State CC College, where he played in the 2018/19 season averaging 15.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

From there he went to the University of Memphis where he stayed for two years (2019-2021). He then went to the University of South Florida (2021-2023), where in his last season in the NCCA he averaged 16.5 points and 12.3 rebounds, with 58.6% accuracy in field goals and 72% in free throws. He was a bronze medalist at the 2021 African Championships.
