The Klosterneuburg Dukes secured first place in the placement round of the Basketball Super League with a slim success in Traiskirchen.
The Lower Austrians won against the Lions on Saturday with 60:59 (32:33) and are six points ahead of the second-placed Traiskirchen team with one round to go. Michael Weathers made the game-winning basket eleven seconds before the end. The Dukes now enjoy home advantage in the playoffs.
