Florence, 18 April 2024 – La Fiorentina, for the second consecutive year, reaches the semi-final of a European competition, in this case the Conference League. In the history of Lilies it had never happened two years in a row. The Viola, after eliminating Viktoria Plzen, will face the match in May Club Bruggewho eliminated Paok Thessaloniki in the evening, winning 2-0 in Greece after having also won 1-0 in the first leg.
The dates are already known. The first leg will be played at the Franchi on May 2nd at 9pm, while the return leg will not be played as scheduled on Thursday May 9th, but will be brought forward to Wednesday May 8th at 6.45pm. This is because on Thursday the Procession of the Holy Blood 2024a very important celebration for the local population.
