Leonardo Sigali in Racing is by no means assured of starting this Sunday against Lanús for the League Cup. When the rumor was strong that it would open a door for him to act as a starter again, a very reliable source warned this portal that the Bear is very doubtful because they do not see him 100% physically. Even today it is most likely that he will be left out of the starting 11.
Gustavo Costas will define this Saturday if the Bear will start or sit again on the substitutes’ bench. If the latter happens, between Nazareno Colombo and Germán Conti the defender will form a line of three together with Marco Di Cesare (libero) and Agustín García Basso. Naza completed the match, as a stopper on the right. And Conti played a good game (his second as a starter since he arrived at the club), with sobriety and consistency both up and down.
36 years old, Sigali last played as a starter against Defensa y Justicia after a muscle injury. He did it well, correctly. It was March 16 and, since then, he has not appeared in action again, so he has missed the last three games. The experienced defender went to the bench in the 2-0 victory over Sportivo Luqueño, in his debut in the Sudamericana. In the physical aspect, today Costas would see Colombo and Conti better than Sigali, and that is why the Bear should continue waiting for his chance.

In Paraguay Costas chose a line of three/five in the Academy with Colombo, Conti and Agustín García Basso.
