The Plonéour Badminton Secular Association organized, this weekend, the fifth edition of its Les Plumes bigoudènes sports tournament. An event that has established itself as a benchmark in the small world of badminton.
For the sake of practicality, the tests took place in the Plogastel-Saint-Germain multifunction room. 155 competitors, aged 12 to 60, gathered on this sports platform for two days, Saturday March 30 and Sunday March 31, in Plogastel-Saint-Germain.
Attendance up 35%
Attendance at this tournament is up 35% this year. The organizers are proud to see their competition make a mark in the calendars. 155 athletes from the Great West, but also from Nantes, Paris and Charente came to compete for the titles taking advantage of this extended Easter weekend. The secular association Plonéour Badminton, with its 148 members, presented 36 competitors in this tournament. Young people from the Ploneour-Lanvern badminton school were responsible for refereeing the matches: men’s and women’s singles and doubles.
