On Good Friday, the Malchin Judo Club demonstrated its strength and perseverance at the international “Copenhagen Open”.
100 teams from 16 countries took part in the “Copenhagen open”.
With a total of 10 fighters they traveled to Denmark to compete in a top-class, international competition.
The results speak for themselves: the Malchin starters returned with an impressive haul of eight medals.
The performances of Hannah Kemmesies in the U12 category and Helene Litwin, who both sensationally won the gold medal, were particularly outstanding.

But the silver medalists Jenke Kemmesies, Marieke Hacker, Max Schössow, Runa Schiemann and Oskar Ludwigs as well as the bronze medalist Hannah Kemmesies in the U10 category also made their club proud.
The “Copenhagen Open” was an international stage for the sport of judo, with a total of 790 fighters and 100 teams from 16 countries, including strong participants from the USA, Canada and various Scandinavian nations.
In the team ranking, the Malchin team achieved a respectable 7th place
Despite the tough competition, the Malchin Judo Club managed to secure a respectable seventh place in the team rankings. This placement underlines the excellent performance and commitment of all participants.
This triumph in Copenhagen is not an isolated case for the Malchin judo club, which was already impressive in Denmark last year.
The consistent preparation and team spirit have once again paid off and have now made the club internationally known.
