After two goals by Jack Eichel in the opening nine minutes, the Vegas hockey players led 2-0 in Vancouver, but they lost the lead before the first break. The Canucks got back into the game thanks to two power plays.
In the second period, the visitors were the first to assert themselves again. Noah Hanifin scored the goal to make it 3:2 after five seconds of numerical advantage. Hertl, who won the ball at the beginning of the event, also scored an assist on his shot.

The Czech forward returned to the ice after more than two months and played over 20 minutes in the first duel for Vegas. In his debut for the reigning champions, he was effective not only in attack but also in defence. He was even the Golden Knights’ most active player with four tackles.
However, his performance did not help with the points. During the second period, thanks to Brock Boeser and Conor Garland, the Canucks made it 4:3 and secured the victory in the final twenty minutes. In the table of the Western Conference, they became independent in second place. Vegas hockey players continue to be eighth.
