Paris 2024 Olympic Games: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant… A dream Team USA for the Games

Will a “Dream Team” like the Barcelona Games be fielded by the United States this summer in Paris? This is what ESPN suggests by announcing eleven of the twelve names who will compete in the Olympic Games.

According to journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, high-sounding names from the NBA will be present this summer, with no less than four MVPs. LeBron James, who has been awarded this distinction four times, should be selected, as should Kevin Durant (Phoenix), Stephen Curry (Golden State) and Joel Embiid (Philadelphia), naturalized American in 2022.

In addition to these four monsters, the rest of the squad is just as scary. Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana), Jrue Holiday (Boston), Jayson Tatum (Boston), Devin Booker (Phoenix), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota), Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers) and Bam Adebayo (Miami) complete this impressive list to which he only one name is missing.

Titled 16 times in 19 appearances at the Olympic Games, the United States has been riding the Olympics since their bronze medal tasted like failure in Athens in 2004, twenty years ago. LeBron James was already there and took revenge in 2008 and 2012 by winning gold. Kevin Durant, Olympic champion in 2012, 2016 and 2020, will have the opportunity to win a fourth gold medal at age 35. During the last Games, in Tokyo in 2021, Team USA won in the final against the France team (87-82).
