Philadelphia 76ers Fight Back to Defeat New York Knicks in Game 3

Philadelphia 76ers (E7) – New York Knicks (E2) 125:114 (BOXSCORE), Serie: 1-2

Lots of fight and cramp – that’s the best way to describe Game 3 of the series between the 76ers and the Knicks. After losing two games in New York, it was all on the line for Philly, but the team from the Big Apple wanted to make the preliminary decision. Things were tough in the first quarter, with lots of fouls and small pack formations disrupting the flow of the game.

The referee team re-watched fouls on the video screen three times, including an action by star center Joel Embiid against Knicks big man Mitchell Robinson: In the fight for the rebound, Embiid went down and pulled the final Robinson Knee to the ground – A dangerous action that, according to the review, resulted in a Flagrant 1, but could easily have ended with a Flagrant 2 and the same result for Embiid.

The game remained competitive, in the first half neither team was able to create a gap of more than four points, the Knicks went into halftime with a 58:55 lead at the Wells Fargo Center.
