The Lakers-Nuggets tension didn’t just stay on the hardwood. Yesterday, during the second game of the series played in Denver, cameras captured Strahinja Jokic, older brother of the Serbian star, punching a fan. In the video you can only see how the fan says a few words when both are already clearly agitated. Strahinja manages to go down a line to hit the fan. A few meters away was Natalija, Jokic’s wife, with her daughter in her arms.
In the shot it cannot be seen whether stadium security mediated between the two or took action regarding the altercation. The NBA is investigating how the argument occurred and what led Strahinja to do what he did. He and Nemanja, the other brother, always go to Nikola’s home games. In fact, they already became famous for their altercation with Markieff Morris when Jokic pushed the forward from behind. It is not uncommon to see one or both of them engaged in verbal disputes with fans or even players or referees.
