With a 9:5 win in the Glass Palace against BC Karlsruhe, the judo women of VfL Sindelfingen are currently in second place in the 1st Bundesliga. Coach Simon Kristen praised: “We were lucky in a few encounters, but ultimately our team spirit was crucial.” He cited Alina Lengweiler as an example, who had been on the mat at the European Championships in Zagreb two days earlier and returned early to do so to take part.
