Archery Legends: The Stories of Noël Vanheslande and Vincent Matton

Noël Vanheslande started archery in Berthen in 1964 before joining the Bailleul club in 2011. He received his honorary diploma for 60 years of practice. Designated king three times in Berthen, he won this title in Bailleul in 2012. He also participates every year in the French veteran championships.

Vincent Matton, for his part, started the discipline in 1997 in Hondeghem. In 2006, he settled down at the Bailleul club. He received the diploma for 25 years of pole archery, having just won the title of king in Bailleul. It must be said that Vincent collects these titles: 1999, 2002, 2006, 2008 and 2024 in Oostcappel, Eecke, Bailleul and Bray-Dunes. 2006 was also a notable year for the archer who was crowned Artois champion and land champion. He also won the Land Cup with the Bailleul club.
