With the mid-year transfer window approaching, Fluminense is already monitoring the market. And the club can point to Uruguay. At least that’s what journalist Uriel Lugt, from Rádio Pura Pasion (from Argentina), reports. The target, according to the Argentine journalist, is midfielder Facundo Bernal, 20 years old, from Defensor.
According to the reporter, there were people from Fluminense watching the player in action in the Uruguay Cup final, on May 22, when Defensor Sporting drew 2-2 in regular time against Montevideo City Torque and won on penalties.
The journalist also informs that Italian clubs monitor the player’s situation. His termination clause is US$6 million (approximately R$31 million at current prices).
