Rinov/Pitha had to recognize the superiority of the Chinese representatives Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui in two consecutive matches 15:21, 14:21.

“This match is not what I expected. “Not all of our games can come out,” said Pita, quoted in a brief statement by PP PBSI.

“There is still a feeling that we are dissatisfied, although I am still grateful to have reached the semi-finals,” he added.

In his opinion, Rinov believes that they did not perform well, as he suffered a right leg problem due to a fall when they faced compatriots Dejan Ferdinandsia/Gloria Emmanuel Widjaja in the quarterfinals on Friday (17/5) .

“Actually, I have a problem in my right leg that makes my movements difficult. “This injury was the result of yesterday’s fall on the field with Deyan/Gloria,” Rinov said.

“I don’t even know what kind of game it is and I always go to the field. “It’s just that the injury affected my speed,” she said.

He also regretted having forced the second seed to drop out of the last four.

However, Rinov/Pita do not want to lose their enthusiasm and are immediately preparing to compete in the next games, before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“Whatever the outcome, I will still be grateful. “We will improve even more, especially because in two months we will be at the Olympic Games,” Rinov said.

“Actually, there is a higher goal, but we didn’t achieve it in this Thailand Open tournament. “Of course we will try to get better results in other games,” Pita added.

The world number 15 in mixed doubles will then prepare to compete at the 2024 Malaysia Masters, which will be held from May 21 to 26.

“After that we will rest a little and then play in the Malaysia Masters. First we need to free the body and mind. We want to improve and come back soon,” said Pita.

Meanwhile, there is another representative from Indonesia who will compete in the semifinals of the Thailand Open 2024 today.

The women’s doubles will be contested by third seeds Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amallia Kahaya Prativi of Japan Rin Iwanaga/Ki Nakanishi. (Ant)
