“The French international from Stade Toulouse and elected best player in the World Rugby world in 2021 will also carry the Olympic flame on Friday May 17 on stage 9.” Other rugby figures will also carry the torch that day, like Vincent Clerc, Maxime Médard, or Émile Ntamack.

Romain Ntamack to light the cauldron

The latter’s son, Romain Ntamack, opener at Stade Toulouse, will even have the honor of concluding this stage of the relay and lighting the flame at the Ernest-Wallon stadium, the home of his team. Other personalities will carry the flame to Toulouse, such as former handball player Nodjialem Myaro or influencer Tibo InShape.

Antoine Dupont, scrum half from Stade Toulouse, should himself participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with the French rugby sevens team. He notably gave up participating in the last Six Nations Tournament with the French XV in order to join the septist national team, and to find a place in this group.
