Once again the Judo Shiai Piacenza company is the protagonist of Italian judo on a national and international level. Gold for Asia Sassi and silver for Francesca Trongone last weekend at the 34th International Judo Tournament “Genova Città di Colombo”, an event under the aegis of the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Arts Martial Arts Federation (FIJLKAM) as well as being included within the federal circuit “Gran Prix Cadets and Juniores” for men and women with 1300 athletes registered for 240 Italian clubs in which delegations from Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Poland, Romania, the Principality of Monaco, San Marino, Spain, also participated. Switzerland, Turkey and Hungary.
Team silver, however, for the Piacenza judoka Alex D’Aguanno at the Italian university judo championship, participating on loan at Cus Parma. The Piacenza club from Via Fulgosio has once again become a protagonist with Thomas Sassi, the Piacenza judoka who has already twice been Italian champion, following the results achieved in the European stages of the Cadets World Tour 2024, and in particular in Follonica, Fuengirola in Spain, in Porec in Croatia, in Berlin in Germany and in Coimbra in Portugal. Results for which he was selected and called up by the national technical management for the 2024 Cadet European Championship which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 27 to 29 June 2024. Many compliments received for this latest sporting satisfaction.
