The Spanish Basketball Federation modifies the name of the men’s divisions that depend on it.
The highest category, covered by the Association of Basketball Clubs, maintains its name, but the second (LEB Oro) is renamed First FEB, the third (LEB Plata) becomes Second FEB and the fourth (Liga EBA) is transformed in Third FEB.
The only team from Salamanca affected by this fact is Xoborg-La Antigua-CB Tormes, which in the 2024-2025 campaign will compete in the fourth level, that is, in the Tercera FEB.
Below is the fifth and final step, known as the First Men’s Division. Run by the Castilla y León Basketball Federation, the Pontifical University of Salamanca is involved in it.
It remains to be known if the newly created Club Atlético Carbajosa Baloncesto will begin its journey in the First Men’s Division or, as indicated in the first statement in its history, obtain a place in the Third Federation.

As for women’s basketball, the names are maintained for all categories.
Perfumerías Avenida is going to play in the first (Endesa Women’s League). No charro team will participate next year in the second (Female Challenge League) or the third (Female League 2). In the fourth and last, organized by the Castilla y León Basketball Federation, there will be Arelsa and the University of Salamanca.
