NBA superstar Stephen Curry has become a father for the fourth time. The Golden State Warriors’ master shooter announced this on Instagram on Monday night.
“Our sweet boy decided to arrive early. He is doing very well and we are adjusting to family life at home with six. So grateful,” Curry wrote alongside a black-and-white photo showing his hand and that of the newborn.
Curry’s second son was born on May 11th. His name is Caius Chai Curry. “Caius” comes from the Latin “Gaius” and means “great joy”. “Chai” comes from the Hebrew and means “life”.
Stephen Curry has four children with his wife Ayesha: daughters Riley (11) and Ryan (8) and now sons Canon (5) and Caius.
From a sporting point of view, there was little to celebrate for Curry last season: He and the Golden State Warriors were defeated in the play-in tournament by the Sacramento Kings.
