The Scauri Basketball School is ready to start the summer Skill Camp which offers the possibility of taking free courses, for all ages and abilities, with the guidance of the expert team.

From 3 June to 31 July we will experience basketball, for a summer of sport and fun, on the playing fields of the oratories of the parishes of Sant’Albina Vergine e Martire and Maria e SS.ma Immacolata in Scauri di Minturno, and San Biagio in Marina di Minturno. An initiative strongly desired by the promoters of the new partnership, coaches Enrico Fabbri and Claudio Di Ciaccio, who have dedicated their careers at a national and international level to the world of basketball, and supported with conviction by the parish communities.

This is a unique opportunity that “will allow aspirants and enthusiasts to better learn the spirit and techniques of basketball and mini-basketball with the best professionals in the sector, to compete with the world of basketball and possibly start a real sporting journey and precisely” explain Fabbri and Di Ciaccio. The coaches reiterate their strong and concrete commitment to the very young and young people of the area, “for the promotion of sport in the parish as an educational and participation experience”.

More generally, the Scauri Basketball School project is ambitious and aims to train well-rounded and competent basketball players, with the desire to overcome physical barriers, for a culture of sport that is also accessible to people with disabilities, and to encourage social inclusion, thus creating a positive context in which everyone can truly express themselves. A School in which value is mainly given to people, providing them with “the tools they need to reach their maximum potential – underline coaches Fabbri and Di Ciaccio – Developing basketball skills and self-esteem so that they can feel at home comfortable and safe on and off the pitch, without forgetting the importance of having fun.”

A commitment on the territories and for the territories that has been carried out since the first initiatives, such as the “Basket in Cartella” project dedicated to primary and secondary school pupils, creating the conditions for a much broader sports organization together with the qualified contribution of the coaches Giuseppe Pantalei, Antonella Romano, Francesco Parrotta and the athletic trainer Claudio Lopiano.
