The Nova TV Group has extended the current contract to broadcast the UEFA Champions League. The contract is for several years, its exact length was not disclosed by the television. New live broadcasts will also be available on Nova Sport 5 and 6 stations alongside Nova Sport 3 and 4 channels. The television stated this in a press release today. Nova recently announced that, starting next season, it will also broadcast matches of the European and UEFA Conference Leagues, which until now were offered by Czech Television.

“The new stations Nova Sport 5 and 6 give us more space to broadcast a higher number of matches. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings will belong to the UEFA Champions League in an unprecedented quantity on our stations. From each game day we will broadcast up to six matches – two in the early evening and four in the evening simultaneously on Nova Sport 3 to 6,” said TV Nova head of sports Dušan Mendel today.

He reminded that the spectators are sure that the main stage of the prestigious competition in the 2025/2026 season will also be played by a Czech representative. In the upcoming season, champion Sparta and runner-up Slavia will fight for participation in the main stage. On Nova Sport, fans can look forward to the broadcast of all four preliminary rounds, the UEFA Super Cup and, at the end of the season, the final match itself.

This year’s UEFA Champions League will culminate with the final match this Saturday, June 1, in London’s Wembley. The match between Dortmund and Real Madrid will be broadcast by Nova Sport 3.
