This was an impressive game for American TJ Shorts (175-PG-1997, college: UC Davis) as the 27 year old point guard had 34 points when his team the Paris Basket beat the ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket 103 to 98. He also added 4 rebounds and 13 assists that evening. Shorts is the 2nd best scorer in the league.
He participated in the Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas IV years ago. It helped him get more exposure and attract teams overseas.
He has been regularly called the North Macedonian Senior National Team since 2022. His team won the French Leaders Cup earlier this year. He was selected Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Player of the Year in 2024.
Shorts was also awarded Player of the Week in the French League II times already this season.
