The second part of the first long Azzurri commitment in the Volleyball Nations League began yesterday, with the transfer from Brazil to Canada, which will see the Azzurri competing in Ottawa, from 6 to 9 June, against France, USA, Cuba and Holland. The program includes a two-day break in Montreal before the move scheduled for tomorrow to the city of Gatineau where the Azzurri will carry out work sessions and two friendly matches with the Canadian national team scheduled for 30 and 31 May at the “Men’s Volleyball Centre” before the last transfer to Ottawa, home of VNL Pool 4.
Italy will enter week 2 at the top of the class with four victories out of four obtained in Brazil for a total of 11 points, but above all with an important leap forward in the international ranking which will be awarded at the end of the preliminary phase of the Volleyball Nations League four more passes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
