2024 College Football Playoff Schedule Announced: Fans Can Start Planning for December and Postseason

College football fans can start making plans for December and the postseason.

On Wednesday, the start times and broadcast partners for the 2024 College Football Playoff were announced. This year is the first season with a 12-team field. The national championship game will be played on Monday, January 20 in Atlanta at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on ESPN.

The opening round games will be played on December 20-21, with one game on Friday, December 20 and three games on Saturday, December 21. The game on December 20th starts at 8pm and will be broadcast on ABC and TV. ESPN. Games begin on December 20th at 12pm (TNT), 4pm (TNT) and 8pm (ABC and ESPN).

The quarter-finals will be played over one leg on Tuesday 31 December and over three legs on Wednesday 1 January. The Fiesta Bowl starts at 7:30 pm on December 31st (ESPN). January 1st includes the Peach Bowl at 1pm (ESPN), the Rose Bowl at 5pm (ESPN) and the Sugar Bowl at 8:45am (ESPN).

Semifinal games will be played on Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th at the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl. The Orange Cup will be at 7:30 pm on January 9th (ESPN), while the Cotton Bowl will be at 7:30 pm on January 10th (ESPN).
