Indonesia sent four representatives to the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Open 2024. The following is Gregoria Mariska Tunjung et al’s schedule for today.
The Indonesia Open 2024 is entering its fourth day and will hold a series of quarter-final matches at Istora Senayan, Friday (7/6/2024). The series of matches will start at 09.00 WIB.
The hosts have four representatives, one each in mixed doubles and women’s singles and two in men’s doubles. The pair Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja will appear first of the four.
They will appear in the second match against Thai mixed doubles Dechapol Puavaranakroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai. Followed by Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the fifth match, against Wang Zhi Yi.
Next, Sabar Karyaman Gutama’s men’s doubles will appear in eighth place against Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po Hsuan. Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana are expected to compete as the last of Indonesia’s representatives today, meeting Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the 10th match.
These four Red-White representatives have the tough task of ending their title drought. Indonesia has been without a champion title in this event for the last two years.
The 2021 edition is the last time the hosts will taste champions, namely in the men’s doubles event through the legendary duo Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo.
