The Mauvezinois Judo Club celebrated its fiftieth anniversary during an event which brought together 80 people. A small judo demonstration opened the evening. This was appreciated by the public. The office thanked the speakers and the Old Kimonos who contributed to this demonstration.
On a large screen more than 200 photographs of the life of the club appeared and there was a nostalgic side for some. The aperitif was then shared together and the personalities present took the floor for a few speeches on the theme of the evening. This was the transition for the different people to join the tables to begin the meal prepared by a former judoka. Edible photographs representing the founding members were placed on the desserts. The children had fun blowing out the candles.
Then, a karaoke was started and children, parents and leaders played the game; the different performers followed one another until late at night.
There was a reunion that evening between former practitioners. An idea was launched for future seasons to meet once a year at Spanish hostels.
