A Latvian figure jumper from the USA qualifies for the Paris Olympic Games

The Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK) announced on Friday that Latvian figure jumper Džeja Delanija Patrikas has qualified for the Paris Olympic Games.

The LOK reports that Patrika has secured a ticket to the Olympic Games after winning 21st place in the figure jump from the ten-meter tower at this year’s world championship.

Less than two weeks ago, Patrika became the first Latvian athlete to qualify for the finals of the master’s competition at the European water sports championship, finishing seventh.

Two years ago at the European Championship, Patrika ranked 19th, but last year the figure jumper managed to win 17th place at the European Games.

The 22-year-old athlete lives and trains in the USA.
