A new era opened for the Quimper badminton club this Friday, during its general meeting held at the group’s headquarters, rue Jules Noël. Around 35 people, young players and experienced players, historic members and new recruits, were present for this important moment which marked the start of a new chapter for the club. A major change took place during this assembly: the election of Philippe Daoudal to the post of president. An emblematic figure of the club, with 50 years of experience and a wealth of experience, Mr. Daoudal has outlined the broad outlines of his ambitious project for the association. Its main objective is to allow each member to fully flourish, both on a human and sporting level, while making the club’s pink jersey shine in competitions.

The meeting was also an opportunity to warmly thank Florian Bertrand for his dedication as president during the 2023/24 season. Tribute was also paid to Anthony Bourbigot, who will now focus on his privileged missions of organizing competitions and refereeing, after brilliantly coordinating cross-functional projects for many years.
After the presentation of the new project, members were able to meet in a friendly atmosphere to share a moment of camaraderie.
Today, the club’s leaders are working to prepare for the next school year with enthusiasm. Several important sporting events await the Roses over the coming weeks, the opportunity for them to shine one last time in the most beautiful way and to end this season in style. The Quimper badminton club is ready to take on new challenges and write new glorious pages in its history under the leadership of its new president, Philippe Daoudal.
