A Successful Closing Day at the Sports Association of Peyramale Saint Joseph Middle and High School

“This Friday, June 7, took place the closing day of the Sports Association of the Peyramale Saint Joseph middle and high school.

Under beautiful sunshine, no fewer than 180 students were able to take part in the Olympics and show off all their talent and good humor.

Supervised by teachers, coached and refereed by motivated high school students, the mixed teams made up of athletes who participated in the AS were able to compete in football, flag rugby, handball, basketball, badminton and climbing.

So many activities that the Peyramale-Saint Joseph high school-college offers throughout the year to allow everyone to participate, discover, live and flourish whatever their level, “the main thing being to participate “.

Living up to expectations of mutual aid, fair play and conviviality, 18 teams showed desire, respect and determination! All this in a festive atmosphere, worthy of major events, notably thanks to Bastien and his entertainment, without forgetting the AS dancers who showed their cheerleading talents!

Congratulations to the Mexican team for their 3rd place, to Sweden for 2nd place and to Japan for the beautiful trophy won with honor!

This was followed by the traditional General Assembly where, after a positive assessment of the year, the teams having won championships were presented with medals. Bravo to them for their investment!

A special mention to certain young people who got involved in refereeing since AS Peyramale-Saint Joseph is not just about discovering or practicing sports. Training young people in the civic values of refereeing is one of the objectives set by the teachers.
