AC Milan Transfer Saga: Joshua Zirkzee Commission Demand Causes Delay

TRIBUNJOGJA.COM – The AC Milan Transfer Market is still interesting to follow this summer.

Most recently, AC Milan journalist Carlo Pellegatti claimed that the commission demanded by Joshua Zirkzee’s agent is now much higher than before.

The Zirkzee to AC Milan transfer saga has been going on longer than many expected given the player’s apparent willingness to move.

AC Milan must pay the €40 million release clause when it becomes active on July 1.

The reason the deal took so long was because of Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian.

He is asking for a commission of €15 million to help facilitate the deal, a figure AC Milan are not planning to approach.

Speaking on his YouTube channel via Pianeta Milan, Pellegatti explained that AC Milan estimated the commission would be €6 million when they first tried to sign Zirkzee.

The requests then gradually increased to the point where AC Milan was very upset with the situation and that is why many links emerged to Romelu Lukaku and other strikers.

“Why are there reports that AC Milan are ready to pay the clause and have an agreement with Zirkzee? And don’t they know about the commission?

“According to my source, it may not be true, initially the commission request was 6 million, then it rose to 9, then 12, and finally 15. If this recklessness is true, it is clear that they (AC Milan) are fascinated.

“They probably thought the commission was 6 people, not 15 people. “The commission has changed over time, like last year with Taremi,” Pellegatti said.

AC Milan is reportedly still very interested in bringing in Zirkzee and the player prefers the plan of joining AC Milan and staying in Serie A rather than joining Manchester United in the Premier League.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin insists Joshua Zirkzee is AC Milan’s Plan A this summer despite links to Romelu Lukaku.
