Adidas Eurocamp 2024: French Talent Shines Bright in Treviso

End clap of adidas Eurocamp 2024 in Treviso. This new edition made it possible to create beautiful moments between NBA players and young men dreaming of becoming one. The North-East of Italy has seen future great talents come to light and, this year, eight French people set foot on the courts of the Po plain with the ambition of catching the eye of NBA scouts.

Treviso, Italy, birthplace of a salad with red leaves and basketball ground. Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Bam Adebayo and more have moved to the top of the boot to showcase their talents for the orange ball world to see. Each year the camp sees many guests answer the call to distribute advice to prospects. In 2023, Tony Parker came to advise the French, in 2024, these are notably James Harden, Vasilije Micic and Nikola Jovic who played the mentors.

A good 3×3 team on paper, although lacking in size, unlike Bogoljub Markovic, a young 2m12 Serbian power forward, author of 9 rebounds during the last match of the camp.

30 points from Joson Sanon against Team World, 29 from Darryn Peterson against the same victims or even 28 from Michael Ruzic and Andrey Kostic against Team 3SSB Select led by Jason Terry, the great performances followed one another throughout the weekend .

Eight French people stood out: Joan Beringer, Mohamed Diawara, Nicolas Pavrette, Ugo Doumbia, Brice Dessert, Illan Pietrus, Lucas Ugolin and Roman Domon. The last two cities, coached by Dave Joerger, sent 15 units each against Team World while Mohammed Diawara scored the game-winner in the last match, the final action of a great weekend of basketball.

Which of these names will we find in a few years at the top of the poster? It’s hard to be sure already, but Charles Aznavour would advise them not to already see themselves adored and rich, signing their photos to the admirers who will jostle for it. For the moment bohemianism takes precedence, the fact of not planning too much for tomorrow and continuing to work relentlessly. Today, all these young men have in any case shown that they have talent.
