Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz trained on Thursday on the centre court of the All England Tennis Club in London in preparation for the Wimbledon tournament which starts next Monday, where he met two other big favourites, Serbian Novak Djokovic and Italian Jannik Sinner.
Alcaraz is defending his title in the third Grand Slam of the season, after his epic five-set victory in last year’s final against Djokovic. The Murcia native, who won Roland Garros last month, did not have a good contact with the grass last week, being eliminated early at Queen’s.
However, La Catedral is another story for an Alcaraz who took advantage of the license allowed by the Wimbledon organization from 2022 to train at the Central and not on Court 14.
