All Japan Business Judo Team Championships Held Successfully at Nagahama Ika Twin Arena

The All Japan Business Judo Team Championships was held at the Nagahama Ika Twin Arena on June 8th and 9th.

This year, the winners of the men’s division were Asahi Kasei in the first division, ALSOK in the second division, and Nippon Steel in the third division.

In the women’s division, JR East won the first division and Park24 won the second division.

Congratulations to all of the teams.

The final of the men’s division 1 was a match between Asahi Kasei and Park 24. Both teams were strong with many talented players, so I think it was a very exciting match.

Also, I thought it would be great to use the square around the venue for the event.Outdoor Eventswas open.

Not only were there talk shows with top athletes and live commentary by Takamasa Anai (head coach at Tenri University), but there was also play equipment and space for children to use their bodies, ensuring that spectators had a fun time outside of the match.

It was fun to see Anai-san’s sharp jabs at guests Yuji Yamamoto (Asahi Kasei, Tenri University coach) and Chikara Nakaya (Alsok, Tokai University assistant coach) (laughs).

The players themselves seemed to enjoy their time at the talk show, and I think the fans felt closer to the players. I think it would be good to have more opportunities like this in the future, and it was a great event that made me want to join in the fun. Thank you to everyone who was involved!
