Amandine Pierre-Louis: From Canada to ASSE – Embracing a Green Future

Canadian by birth, went to West Virginia University between 2014 and 2017, then drafted by the Americans Sky Blue FC during the first round in 2018, went to Europe first to FC Metz, then to Slavia Prague (Czech Republic) or still at AaB Kvinder (Denmark), Amandine Pierre-Louis discovered the Arkema Premier League under the colors of Rodez in 2022.

Last fall, eager to return to the elite of French women’s football, she joined ASSE. Quickly, the trained attacker, repositioned in a more defensive role, regained her offensive qualities. First author of a double in the Coupe de France against Toulouse then at the origin of the only goal of the success against Fleury, the Green scored a total of five achievements with ASSE at the end of a second part of successful season on a personal level, but above all collectively, as evidenced by the support quickly ensured by Laurent Mortel’s players.

Also international, first with Canada whose colors she defended during the CONCACAF championship, at the U17 World Cup in 2012 but also in the U20 selection, Amandine Pierre-Louis now regularly wears the Haiti jersey. A fair reward for a player in her prime!

After signing a first contract with ASSE in January, Amandine Pierre-Louis is preparing to play a second season with a Green jersey on her shoulders. The 29-year-old is now linked to the Forez club until 2026.

Amandine Pierre-Louis’ “Green Future” commitment

As part of its “Green Future” CSR approach, AS Saint-Étienne offers each of its employees, including its players, the opportunity to commit to one of the four areas of its ASSE Cœur-Vert association: Environment, Citizenship, Sport for all and Health.

Amandine Pierre-Louis will participate this season in actions on the theme of citizenship.
