Angela and the beautiful Bronze Danube
On one side, there is the enormous Habsburg castle of Petrovaradin on a hill, on the other, the historic center of Novi Sad, and in the middle, the Danube flows placidly. A few hundred meters inland from the left bank of the Strauss river, inside a sultry sports palace, yesterday, an Italian girl rejoiced together with many of her compatriots and others, for winning a Bronze Medal in the championship continent of the oldest sporting discipline in the world. Practically everyone knows how Angela Casarola technically managed to win this medal, because today the news travels so fast that we almost don’t have time to comment on it. So, with the bowls still, I will simply tell you what was the determining factor in being able to reach this goal.
To obtain appreciable technical and tactical results in the sport of fighting, you need to have valid training partners, and the girl from Como has always known how to look for them.
