TRIBUNNEWS.COM – PSSI has announced the list of 33 Indonesian U20 National Team players chosen by coach Indra Sjafri for the Training Camp (TC) ahead of the 2024 AFF U19 Cup, Monday (24/6/2024).
It is scheduled that the Indonesian U20 National Team will take part in the AFF Cup in Surabaya from 17-29 July 2024.
The Indonesian U20 national team is in group A with Cambodia, the Philippines and Timor Leste.
In order to navigate the tournament in the future, coach Indra Sjafri called up a list of players that was not much different from the TC in Italy-France some time ago.
It is known that the Indonesian U20 National Team has undergone the 2024 Toulon Cup International trial tournament.
“After we carried out trials in Toulon, on June 23 yesterday we summoned 33 players to do the AFF U19 TC,” said Indra Sjafri as quoted on the website PSSI.org.
“This player has prepared himself to be part of our AFF team,” continued the 61 year old coach.

From the list of players chosen by Indra Sjafri, there are five names of which are in the diaspora (descendant) or naturalization categories.
This list of players has also participated in TC in the previous period.
Of the list of five players, three of them are truly new faces for the official red-and-white tournament.
Meanwhile, the remaining two names, namely Welber Jardim and Ji Dan Bin, have strengthened the Indonesian National Team since the 2023 U17 World Cup.
