Organized by Rivière-du-Loup Minor Baseball, this tournament which will take place until Monday brings together A and B caliber teams. Around thirty teams from Bas-Saint-Laurent, the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière -Appalachia is listed.
Matches will take place at the Maxi and Saint-Ludger fields in Rivière-du-Loup and Saint-Antonin throughout the weekend.
“A tournament is always exciting for all the children. It’s really fun too because they play against teams from Quebec, Lévis, so it really covers a wider range too. So yes, we want to develop the young people for sure, and we want to have fun. That’s what we expect,” explains Sabrina Castonguay, member of the board of directors of Minor Baseball Rivière-du-Loup.
