Ansyari Lubis is ready to help the new PSS Sleman coach

Jakarta (ANTARA) – PSS Sleman assistant coach Ansyari Lubis emphasized that he is ready to help the new coach who will come to handle the Javanese Super Eagle squad in the 2024/25 Indonesian League 1 competition. Quoted from the club’s official website, Wednesday, Ansyari explained that he was ready to adapt to the new coach who would come later, including in communicating.

“Actually, later we just need to adapt more to language communication. Hopefully in the future there will be translators who can help with communication in team training activities,” said Ansyari.

It is very likely that the PSS head coach’s chair is still occupied by a foreign coach and responding to this, Ansyari said he already had experience with this.

It is known that when Ansyari became PSS Sleman’s assistant coach in the 2023/24 season, there were three foreign coaches who had managed Kim Jeffrey Kurniawan as well as colleagues, namely Marian Mihail, Bertrand Crasson and Risto Vidakovic.

“Reflecting on last season, there were two foreign coaches at PSS Sleman. The adaptation process went well because it depends on how communication can be established,” explained Ansyari.

“My goal of course remains the same, namely to help the coach achieve what he wants. Hopefully this can come true and we can perform better than last season,” he continued.

While waiting for the arrival of the new coach, PSS Sleman held its first training last Monday and Ansyari admitted that he was quite happy with the development of the players who attended.
