Albinia: The young Maremma athlete Antonio Corsale conquers the podium at the absolute A1 Judo championships.
The A1 Absolute Judo Championships took place on 8 June in the setting of the Palazzetto dello Sport in Jesolo. An event which saw the participation of the best Italian judokas, including those from military sports groups. Among the protagonists of the day, Antonio Corsale, athlete in the -60 kg category, shone with his exceptional performance. Antonio, registered with ASD Judo Bergamo, has a very important sporting history. Previously affiliated with Kumiai Torino, he had to face a challenging qualification path to reach the Jesolo event. After triumphing in the regional championships of Lombardy, he gained access to the A1 championships thanks to his victory in the A2 qualifiers in Perugia. Despite the fierce competition, Antonio managed to stand out. His performance was such that it deserved the congratulations of the Fiamme Gialle sports group, a recognition that confirms the value of his undertaking. For Antonio, this medal represents a fundamental piece in his palmarès.
Already the holder of numerous national and international titles, this success at the A1 Absolute Championships was the goal he was missing to complete his extraordinary sporting journey.
