01. Presentation of the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale team:
The Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale (DAT) professional cycling team competes in the World Tour, the world’s premier division. With 32 years of experience and more than 500 victories, the team participates each year in the biggest competitions on the world cycling calendar, including the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España.
Subsidiary since 2022 of AG2R La Mondiale, its historic sponsor, the team welcomed in 2024 two
new partners: Decathlon as title partner, and the Van Rysel brand as
main partner.
The year 2024 also saw the creation of the New Gen sector, made up of the Espoirs and U19 teams, with the aim of detecting, recruiting and advancing future talents in world cycling, who would join the World Tour team.
02. Job description:
Under the responsibility of the marketing and sales manager, you will have two main missions: seeking new partners and coordinating the team’s hospitality programs:
• Develop the partner club: Construction of file, phoning, follow-up, appointments, monitoring of contractualization
• Organization of events with partners: Organize events, manage the invitation campaign, coordinate logistics.
• Manage and coordinate partner activations for competitions: Write and send invitations, monitor guest registrations and reminders. Sending satisfaction surveys.
• Participate in the development of the supporters’ club: Participate in the team’s strategy in collaboration with the manager of the supporters’ club, co-organize events and search for new actions.
• Support the development of merchandising: Participate in merchandising development meetings and be a force for proposals.
03. Skills & qualities required:
Among the main skills identified for the position:
• Commercial appetite
• Perfect command of English
• Good command of French
• Knowledge of professional cycling is an asset

• Accepts constraints linked to events (public holidays and weekends)
04. Experience and level of education required:
Level of study sought: Master 1 or Master 2
A first internship or work-study experience in the commercial and/or events field is necessary.
05. Working conditions:
The position is an apprenticeship contract, based at the team’s performance center in La Motte-Servolex (73), with occasional travel, as needed, to events.
You will be attached to the Development & CSR division, with frequent interactions with the other divisions of the company (sporting, logistics, etc.)
