İlkay Gündoğan does not regret his words after Barça’s elimination against PSG. In an interview with Der Spiegel, the German clarifies his critical statements towards Ronald Araujo.
“I talked about us as a team, not just Ronald. You will see this if you reread my statements in their entirety.
I, too, make mistakes and I admit them. But if you are not willing to admit your mistakes, you cannot succeed,” Gundogan said. As a reminder, Araujo did not at all appreciate the German’s exit after his red card against PSG.
