On Sunday, the morning mists did not dampen the good mood of the 91 archers representing around twenty companies from the greater South-West who came to compete in the 3D qualifying competition for the French championships. The Château d’Arsac and its remarkable setting adapt to this event beautifully organized by the local club dear to President Patrick Borde and his friends.

Each competitor had to complete a route set out in exploding nature. Along the way, there were 24 targets at which they had to shoot two arrows giving them, at the end of the course, a maximum total of 528 points.

“It is a pleasant course in a setting very appreciated by the archers”, underlined President Borde, analyzing, moreover, the good performances of the day: “Competitors confirmed their current form and others revealed themselves. » Both courses (morning and afternoon) were completed under the watchful eye of referees MM. Eichinger and Mauffrey, who underlined the perfect progress of the tests before the awards ceremony.
